"There came a man who was sent from God: his name was john. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so thaty through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light." --John 1:6-8

I like your layout, the text is easy to read, and you have some excellent content.
I was pretty shocked myself.
Have a great day!
Many of us are so guilty of becoming too busy.... fill everyday, every moment with something!!! I know that college students can't really help it they to fill and plan an agenda for the upcoming semester so they are one step closer to graduation.... it ok to plan, and make an angenda.
We have a personal list of what should be done today, but what should be done in our life!! Now your agenda may have all really good items; finish college, get married, find a house, buy a car, find that next career, and so on. Those are really good items to have on a agenda!!!! But don't be surprized if those aren't the only items!!!
You see, God has a big agenda for us too; He has his own list of items that He see us doing or should be doing!!! Those items listed above are reallly good, but God wants to add a little more, a few details to the items.... and thats ok!!!
In proverbs chapter 16 it tells us that "man plans his way" that we plan our day, our week, our year.... but its "the Lord who guides our steps" pushes us in the direction we wants us to go!!! Just like we have MORE than one friend; we can have MORE than one item on our agenda too!!! Don't be shocked if God steps into your agenda and "guides your steps" along the way!!
Are you ready to allow God into your agenda; into your heart, today??
We do this one simple task every day, in every moment of our life. We stop and judge things, people and stuff just by from what we see through our eyes! We all do, we try so hard NOT to but we end up think those thoughts from what we see, not knowing the real truth. We see a co-worker being promoted to the highest level, (thinkg about their work habbit, they don't deserve that position) again judging what only see, which may NOT be the whole truth. We are doing this without thinking while questioning others, co-workers, frined, family members and even God!!
This week I have been listening to "Give Me Your Eyes" by Brandon Heath.... I must say its been drawing me closer to God, questioning myself and how I see with my eyes, how I see others..... I think we need to have new eyes, we need to change how our eyes see people! We need to asked God for his "eyes" so we can serve Him as a true disciple. After all God saw something different in Moses; a born leader, and saw something special in John; a born follower. God looks beyond the person, the clothes, the hair, the tattoo's, the harley davidson bike.... God looks with His "eyes" and see their whole heart!!!
We need to replace our "eyes" and become a true disciple, of teaching God's word with all whom we meet with! If your "eyes" see something, stop; don't dwell on it, let it go if the other party involve didn't bring what you saw to your attention; stop, don't worry. Its just like gossip; someone tells you a juicy story, (humanly, we want to tell someone else) but instead of telling, it stops in our mind by letting it go and NOT sharing it with others!!! We need to stop seeing what the world see's by replacing our "eyes" asking God to "Give Me Your Eyes" so we can see the truth in this world!
Are you ready to give God your "eyes" so you can start seeing the truth through this world?
"Do not show partiality in judging, hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of any man, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it." ~Deuteronomy 1:17
I am reminded by a song "Free to be Me" by Francesca Battistelli with the words telling us were "free" to me..... free to be ourself!! But also we have another freedom; were free from this world by having Christ come into our life!!! Yes, the world could offer us some freedom in our life, but in the end the world's freedom lasts only for a short moment, not eternity!
(v.6-7) Do we have a firm foundation? >> Just as we invite Christ into our life, we need to continue to grow in that relationship, "rooted and built up" strong to with stand the storm. So we need to have that firm foundation by 1) pleasing Him 2) bearing fruit 3) continue to grow each day 4) strengthen the faith department >> This will help us become "rooted and built up" so we can continue to be free with Christ in our life!!!
(v.
Do you have your personal firewall active? >> While living in this world just a moment, we still need to have that firewall active.... Yes the world and satan will toss us anything in our face, hope they can pull us any from Christ and into their "deceptive philosophy" We need to come to Christ, dig into Him word to keep the faith, to keep the foundation firm so we can be free from this world!!! There are people out in the world that hate Christians.... its shocking but we need not to let that take us down, but rather keep going knowing that gift we have it truly greater than the world could ever offer!!
Are you ready to see and live this Freedom, today? This gift is for all, not just us but all those who seek Him and not seek the world..... Come to Christ and pray for His love, His guidance and His freedom that gives to all, even those in that did follow the world before!!!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." ~John 3:16
