"There came a man who was sent from God: his name was john. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so thaty through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light." --John 1:6-8

Sometimes we have unexpected challenges that hit us and over ride life’s controls. It just makes it harder to deal with when we are controlling our own challenges each day. In the end we just worry and dwell about life and where we stand in the future of life itself. But even when things are beyond our realm it seem there is no way out. We all know the old saying “you can lead a horse to water” but the rest is up to the horse weather he drinks it or not.
Last Wednesday I finished planting the slope in front of my house (wow, finally check it off the list as complete!) with Gazania Hybrid. It’s up to the gardener to make sure its properly planted in the ground… while making sure all its need are met. After I finished planting 384 Gazania’s now it’s up to nature, the sun, the soil, the weather and the rain or the irrigation schedule to help the Gazania grow up. Again I can do all I can but the rest is beyond my realm.
We just need to let things go and learn that they are truly beyond our realm… something’s just our too big for us to handle or even understand. God tells us to “cast ALL your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”(1 Peter 5:7) and when we turn to our loving father He will “..restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”(1 Peter 5:10) after we take what we can handle on our own.
